CHRISTINE BRUNO
CONSULTANT
Christine Bruno (AEA / SAG-AFTRA) is an award-winning actor, director, teaching artist, and disability inclusion consultant for the entertainment industry, universities, theatre festivals, nonprofit and for-profit companies and organizations across the globe. She received her MFA in Acting and directing from the New School and is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio; a company member of Theatre Breaking Through Barriers, New Jersey Rep, and Emerging Artists Theatre; sits on the Advisory Boards of National Disability Theatre and Queens Theatre’s TFA program and is a member of the Leadership Council of New York Shakespeare Exchange.
Christine is a teaching artist for Queens Theatre’s TFA program, Epic Players, and NYC Kids Project. She has appeared in productions across the U.S. and internationally and in May, will voice the roles of Gonzalo and Trinculo in Resounding LLC’s live, immersive audio adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest. In 2019, Christine starred in the world premiere of Bekah Brunstetter's Public Servant Off-Broadway.
Her TV and film credits include CBS's God Friended Me, NBC's Law & Order, ABLE: A Series and the upcoming independent features, Best Summer Ever and Hungry. Christine is a Princess Grace Award nominee and a recipient of an Artist Relief Grant from the Center for Cultural Power. Christine sits on the NY Local Board of SAG-AFTRA, is Chair of the NY SAG-AFTRA Performers with Disabilities (PWD) Committee, serves on the SAG-AFTRA National PWD and Actors’ Equity EEOC Committees, is a founding member of the Disability Cohort of Time’s Up’s 5050by2020. www.BrunoDisabilityInclusion.com.
