DEV HAYOSTEK
CONSULTANT
Dev Hayostek (they/them) holds a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Arts from Pennsylvania State University. They spent 13 years working in the Retail/Fashion Industry where they gained valuable leadership skills and best practices. Dev's areas of expertise are leadership, talent life cycle (recruitment, onboarding, training, development), presentation techniques/workshop coaching, trauma informed/mental wellbeing practices in the workplace, as well as anti-racism, LGBTQIA+ issues, and psychiatric disabilities, and anti-diet/fat justice work. Dev is currently a graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Social Work and is a Master of Social Work Candidate focusing on Direct Practice with Individuals, Families, and Small Groups.
Dev will also receive a Mental Health certificate upon graduation. Dev also currently serves as a Project Manager/Graduate Assistant in the Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at the University of Pittsburgh as well as a Fellow in the Coalition for Opioid and Addiction Leadership Fellowship in the School of Social Work. Dev's academic work centers around the War on Drugs/Addiction and how it impacts communities of color as well as other marginalized communities.
