DR. FELICIAN FULLILOVE
CONSULTANT

 

Dr. Felicia Fullilove is a program manager for the American Chemical Society and former (2018-2020) American Association for the Advancement of Science  and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Science Foundation (NSF) where she worked towards broadening the participation of underrepresented groups (women, Black, Indigenous, People of Color) in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. A previous Lecturer of Chemistry at Spelman College and NSF Center for Selective C-H Functionalization (NSF-CCHF) Communicating Chemistry Postdoc at Emory University, Felicia has expertise in communicating scientific concepts to technical and non-technical audiences as well as working towards understanding the systemic barriers plaguing the full participation of underrepresented groups in the scientific enterprise.

A 2004 Eli Lilly Scholar, 2012 recipient of the NSF Problems and Research to Integrate Science and Mathematics (PRISM) Fellowship, and 2017 National Conference Chair for National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers, Felicia has a passion for diversifying the STEM enterprise, STEM education and the mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students. Felicia holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Butler University and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Emory University.
